5 Jun 1891   Okay, I don't understand this news item at all!! Jack Dempsey, the champion boxer, was born in 1895 in Missouri. I have checked back in the June 5, 1891, Tillamook Headlight. This sentence is in the 6th sentence down in the 2nd column. How can this be in this paper 4 years before THE Jack Dempsey was born?! I even checked on Jack Dempsey's dad's name. It wasn't Jack. Huh! db
